Before Diwali, Government to Give ₹50,000 to 35,000 People – How to Apply

The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban has brought good news. A total of 3,505 people will get their first installment of ₹50,000 before Diwali. This amount will help them begin the work of building their own houses.

The scheme will provide money in three parts. The total benefit is ₹2.5 lakh. The first part is ₹50,000, the second part is ₹1.5 lakh, and the last part is ₹50,000.

Applications for PMAY Urban

In the district, 18,080 people applied online for PMAY Urban. The District Urban Development Authority (DUDA) and the Revenue Department are checking these applications.

So far, 8,321 applications have been verified. Out of these, 3,505 are approved. Around 4,882 applications are not eligible. The remaining 9,693 applications are still under review.

Money Distribution Before Diwali

The 3,505 selected people will soon get the first payment of ₹50,000. This will reach them before Diwali. The amount will help them begin building their homes.

After the first stage of work is complete, the government will release ₹1.5 lakh as the second payment. When the roof work is finished, the final ₹50,000 will be given.

The DUDA Project Officer and SDM Judicial Bhumika said the checking work is going on. All applications are being carefully reviewed.
